Fallout 3 'Game of the Year' package available through Steam

18 December 2009
Developers Bethesda Softworks have announced that its’ Fallout 3: Game of the Year edition, which bundles the original game with five downloadable expansions, is now available for digital download on Valve’s Steam service.
Priced at $49.99 (roughly R350) the package features the Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout, Mothership Zeta DLC packages – each of which were released earlier this year at $10 individually.
Currently the Game of the Year edition is the only way to purchase these expansions through the Steam Service.
No information regarding how big a download the Game of the Year package is has yet been released. Although this may have been a problem for local gamers in the past, recent reductions in broadband prices with prepaid bandwidth prices as low as R29 per GB, have made the utilisation of digital services such as Steam more of a reality.
