Dragon Age: Origins features more dialogue than Mass Effect 2

21 December 2009

Bioware co-founder Dr. Greg Zeschuk revealed to Shack News this weekend that recently released RPG Dragon Age: Origins will feature twice the dialogue than that found in the upcoming science fiction RPG sequel Mass Effect 2.

Despite the cinematic nature of the upcoming release Zeschuk revealed that Dragon Age has twice as many dialogue options. This is due to the fact that it features considerably more classes and races from which the player can choose, this opens up the dialogue possibilities considerably in game.

“For every group of possible responses you see on any given play through of the game, there’s probably an equal number hidden to handle all the other potential combinations” Zeschuk explained.

For many Dragon Age fans this may be enough of a reason to make another run through the game using different classes and skill sets before Mass Effect 2 is released in January.
