A demo of Airtight Games’ jet pack powered shooter will today become available on Xbox Live. The game runs on the popular Unreal 3 engine, and tasks players with saving humanity from aliens. Perhaps not the most original premise, but Dark Void does feature a rather interesting mixture between tradition cover based shooting and flight based combat, including an innovative looking “vertical cover system”.
The demo will become available on the PlayStation Network tomorrow, and features one level of the game.
Dark Void is scheduled for release on January 10.
