Those gamers who have been patiently waiting on further Crysis 2 details need not be discouraged. Reports emerged yesterday regarding the theme and setting of the highly anticipated first person shooter sequel revealing an unexpected development.
The front cover of the March 2010 edition of PlayStation: The Official Magazine reads “Aliens invading NYC? No problem!” with editor-in-chief Gary Steinman tweeting “Crysis 2 set in NYC!!”
This marks a departure from the original tropical island setting found in Crysis. In addition to this the game will also be released for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 with publisher Electronic Arts suggesting that the game will be released between April 1st 2010 and March 31st 2011 (Ed. Way to play it safe there guys).
