Developers Gearbox have slowly begun trickling out details regarding a previously unannounced third DLC package for 2009’s most successful fresh IP Borderlands.
According to Shack News game designer Jason “haTts” Reiss recently revealed that it is “the biggest DLC we’ve ever made” adding “Level cap increase anyone? Got it and it’s awesome. Hopefully we can get a full announcement out to you guys soon…we are working really hard right now on both the update (that solves a bunch of issues) and the DLC.”
Prior to the release of the game on multiple platforms the developers revealed that “people are going to be surprised when they find out how quickly we’re coming [with DLC], and with what content we’re coming.”
Fans of the RPG laced first person shooter will be more than happy to hear that the level cap in Borderlands has increased, this could potentially add a number of new elements to the gameplay.
