Borderlands DLC released as bundled add on package

Developers Gearbox Software and publishers 2K Games have revealed that they will be releasing two previously released downloadable packages as part of a standalone package for 2009 RPG laced shooter hit Borderlands.

According to Kotaku US retailer GameStop is currently listing the double DLC disk for a February 23rd release at a price of $19.99 for Xbox 360 and PC. It has not been confirmed if the package, which will bundle The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned and Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot, will be released for PS3 or if it will hit local shelves.

Meanwhile, Gearbox is making final preparations for a third DLC instalment of the game – entitled ‘The Secret Army of General Knox’.

No release date has yet been given although it has been confirmed that General Knoxx will raise the in game level cap, bring new enemies, vehicles, weapons and missions as well as a massive new environment to explore.
