Charles Magnusson, executive producer on the soon to be release Battlefield: Bad Company 2, has told Eurogamer that he feels EA simply has a better multiplayer game with BC2 than Activision’s Modern Warfare 2.
“I certainly respect our colleagues and they have made a first-class title on the legs, but I think we simply have a better, richer multiplayer experience. Exactly what we wanted to achieve and I believe we succeeded in that, too.”‘
The PC version is currently under way, and the game is shaping up nicely, although it remains to be seen if it can replace Infinity Ward’s record breaking FPS as the current king of the multiplayer FPS hill.
