Despite being initially due for release in 2007 Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell: Conviction was delayed a number of times, reportedly in order to bolster the company’s release line up for the 2009 2010 fiscal year.
the title has now been given an official release date.
The fifth instalment in the Splinter Cell series, developed by Ubisoft Montreal will officially be released on the 13th of April in the US and the 15th of April in Europe and surrounds for the PC and Xbox 360.
It will introduce a number of new features to the stealth series such as ‘Mark and Execute’ and ‘Last Known Position’ as well as a new multiplayer mode referred to as Deniable ops.
