Mass Effect 2 Firewalker DLC due in March

26 February 2010

Bioware have announced that a new downloadable content package will be released to Mass Effect 2 owners in early March. This will be available through the game’s Cerberus Network and will only be accessible by those players who have purchased a new copy of the game.

The Firewalker package will include a number of new missions as well as the long awaited Hammerhead Tank.

A Bioware release reveals the following:

“Free to all Cerberus Network members; the Firewalker pack includes 5 all new missions featuring the Hammerhead. Hovering over the battlefield at up to 120 kilometres per hour, the Hammerhead also boasts a guided missile system ensuring accuracy even during aggressive manoeuvring.”

This serves as a follow on to a number of DLC releases which were made available in February. Bioware also released Mass Effect 2 patch v1.01 for the PC recently.
