Fans of the open world genre take note; developers Avalanche have confirmed that the demo for upcoming sandbox action sequel Just Cause 2 will land on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this Thursday – March the 4th.
The demo will serve 35 square miles of the game’s approximate 400 and will give gamers a good idea of what to expect when the game is officially released later this month.
Just Cause 2 will use a new version of the acclaimed Avalanche Engine and will be set on the opposite side of the world to its predecessor Just Cause, on the fictional island of Panau in Southeast Asia. Protagonist Rico Rodriguez is set to return in a bid to overthrow Baby Panay and confront his former boss, Tom Sheldon.
