Developers Valve have detailed which additions will be featured in the upcoming downloadable content package for recently released zombie shooter Left 4 Dead 2.

The package, known as ‘The Passing, was announced in December 2009 shortly after the game’s release. It will see survivors from the original Left 4 Dead title teaming up with those from the sequel for a touch of tried and tested undead warfare.

Following The Passing’s release the game will receive additional content which will detail original cast members Bill, Zoey, Louis, and Francis’s journey to meet up with the characters in Left 4 Dead 2.

According to Valve The Passing DLC will feature:

–    A Wicked Witch Bride!
–    A Gargantuan M60!
–    A Slashing Golf Club!
–    And Introducing The Fallen Survivor!
–    Meet 3 Left 4 Dead 1 Survivors!
–    New Game Modes!
