Kid saves family with Mario Kart skills

While some will say video games never teach you anything, a kid’s experience with Mario Kart is reported to have saved his life, as well as the lives of his brother and grandmother.

10-year old Gryffin Sanders managed to take control of his grandmother’s car when she passed out while driving on the highway.

Griffin leaned over and directed the car away from oncoming traffic and into a ditch on the side of the road in order to stop to car, which was said to be going close to 100 km/h.

Sanders was awarded with two state medals for his bravery.

    If he did that in this country, they’ll probably arrest the grandmother for letting a minor drive the car- regardless of the circumstances.
