The official Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Facebook page has revealed that The Force Unleashed 2 will be headed to HD consoles around the world on October 26 2010.
This is most probably a US release date, and the European release date will probably be a few days later, and our own local release date a few days after that. So an early November release seems likely in SA. There have been murmurs of a PC version being in the works, but I’ll believe it when I see it.
Like Two Worlds who’s sequel also just got a release date, the Force Unleashed received mixed reviews, and was generally considered pretty average.
The beauty of games like these however, is that developers have room to improve, and if they take criticism levelled at the first game into account, they should be able to get it right the second time around.
