According to Eurogamer, Activision has confirmed that the next Call of Duty title, CoD: Black Ops, will be released on Wii. Previously it was assumed that it would only be available on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
All 4 versions of the game will be released simultaneously on November 9.
This doesn’t come as too much of a surprise, as developer Treyarch has previously released its Call of Duty games for Wii, as well as PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
It obviously makes financial sense for Activision to release the game for the Wii, which still enjoys by far the largest install base of any current generation home gaming platform.
