Codemasters’ latest annual cricket game, International Cricket 2010, has poked its head out from the shadows to introduce itself.
So what does it have to say for itself?
Well, it will be released on June 18 for PS3 and Xbox 360, and it wants you to go watch one of its videos featuring England fast bowler Stuart Broad bowling at Aussie batting legend Ricky Ponting. The video looks A LOT like footage from Ashes 2009, which was released last year and sucked big time. Let’s hope Codemasters listened to the complaints levelled at their last attempt.
It is also pretty proud of its 21 unique real world stadia, different gameplay modes, 16 countries and officially licensed Australian and English cricket teams. Yep, that’s right, South Africans can once again expect to open the batting with Garhan Smythe and Hashmi Almar.
International Cricket 2010 is due “this summer”, so winter then for the half of the world that is not in the Northern hemisphere (which happens to be pretty much every major cricket playing nation).
