Meet the beast in the first Evolve trailer

12 February 2014

Evolve is the latest game from the creators of Left 4 Dead, Turtle Rock Studios, and they have released the first trailer (featuring a great cover of Danzig’s ‘Mother by Lissie).

Coming to PC, Xbox One and PS4 in mid 2014, the title will be sci-fi multiplayer shooter; squad-based action with a twist.

A team of four player-controlled alien hunters will go up against a single player-controlled monster that becomes more powerful as the battle rages on.

The alien hunters each have unique abilities and items, while the monster compensates for being outnumbered with an assortment of strong attacks and its overwhelming size.

The first trailer has finally been shown for the game and things are looking fiery.

The trailer shows four of the unique characters venturing through a forest after skydiving from a plane. It is obvious that each character has their own strengths and weaknesses, each packing their own abilities and weapon of choice.

The inevitable shootout begins between a monster and the gunmen, with the creature showing off its fire-breathing skills.

The trailer shows off the magnitude of the creature that you will face during Evolve, and how each character will have their own way of dealing with things.

The trailer is made up completely off in game footage and shows the game’s boxart at the end of it, with a pre-order incentive.
