Kalahari Specials – Today Only

31 May 2010

Continuing its daily specials program, Kalahari.net today has four games being sold at special low prices. Three of the four games were featured throughout last week at the same low prices, so something tells me that they will continue selling for their marked down price over the next few days at least.

If none of these games appeal to you, then be sure to check out Kalahari’s massive Autumn clearance sale which is still underway.

MAG – PS3 – R469.95 – was R657.95

Players fight alongside each other in platoons across a variety of maps and game types.

The game has a rich ranking system, complete with leadership points, player statistics, and the ability to command the flow of battle for the highest ranked players in a game.

Silent Hunter 5 – PC – R269.95 – was R384.95

Released less than three months ago, Ubisoft’s latest iteration of its classic submarine simulator has been reduced from R384.95 to R269.95.

Players commandeer a German Type VII U-Boat, and go up against allied forces as they wage war across the Atlantic and Mediterranean. The campaign spans between 1939 and 1943, and allows players to walk around inside the submarine, interact with crew members, and command the ship through eyes of a German U-Boat captain.

It is also worth mentioning however that this game does ship with Ubisoft’s new DRM, which requires players to be constantly connected to the internet in order to play.

Silent Hill Shattered Memories – PS2 – R259 – was R322.95

Released earlier this year, Shattered Memories is the seventh instalment of the classic survival horror franchise. It essentially a remake, or as Konami puts it, a reimagining of the first Silent Hill game.

It has received generally positive reviews, and if you still have you PS2 rattling around somewhere, then it may be worth a look.

If your order total is over R385, then delivery on your parcel will be free. If it is under R385, then you will have to pay a R30 delivery fee.
