Rockstar to skip E3

2 June 2010

Rockstar has become one of the most respected video game developers in the world. The Grand Theft Auto series, and now Red Dead Redemption has made them a company to watch in the gaming space.

With E3 around the corner, there was a lot of speculation that Grand Theft Auto V would be announced, or that Max Payne 3 or LA Noir would be showcased.  Sadly, this will not be the case.

In a last minute decision, the developer has decided to skip the event altogether and instead will be showcasing their new properties at a private event in the weeks following E3. This means that none of the above mentioned games will feature at the world’s most important annual games conference.

No reasons were given for the delay, although rumours suggest that Rockstar simply does not feel ready to show its new titles to the media just yet.
