Batman: Arkham Knight looks sets to be one hell of a game, if the the latest screenshots and short trailer are anything to go by.
Rocksteady Studios game director Stefton Hill said on the US PlayStation Blog that the focus of Arkham Knight was to ensure players “felt like Batman” when playing the game in the new open-world setting they had created.
Hill also touched on the addition of the Batmobile for Arkham Knight.
“I’ve been asked a few times: why this game is only possible on next-gen systems? This level of destructibility in an open world city is one of the key reasons. We are only going to add the Batmobile if we can do it right, and making it unstoppable was a key requirement in doing that,” he said.
Add in the ability to drive along walls and eject from the Batmobile straight into Batman’s legendary glide, and you have an element of gameplay sure to impress the gaming masses.
