An 18 year old mother in Maidstone England is being tried for allegedly trying to suffocate her baby with a pillow, after its annoying crying was making it hard for her to enjoy playing on her PS3.
The mother, who can’t be named for legal reasons, claims that she was actually trying to comfort the baby by pressing a pillow to its stomach. Apparently, when the baby turned blue and stopped breathing, the teenager took it to her mother, who then resuscitated it using mouth to mouth and called 999.
She reported her daughter to the police the next day, and the teenager was arrested promptly. She has since admitted that she did put a pillow over the baby’s face.
Remember guys and girls, gaming is important, but not suffocating your toddler with a pillow is more important.
