In the case of Mass Effect 2, it really is just “stuff” because it’s just, you know, stuff. The Aegis Pack DLC (160 MSP on Xbox, and 160 BioWare Points on PC) includes:
• M-29 Incisor burst-fire sniper rifle
• Kestrel Armour set, that adds weapon damage, melee damage, shield strength, headshot damage, additional shields, and increases heavy weapon ammo capacity when you put on all the bits at the same time
For Dragon Age, it’s the Leliana’s song mission pack (560 MSP on Xbox, $6.99 on PS3, and 560 BioWare Points on PC), featuring:
• A standalone adventure detailing the SHOCKING!!11 betrayal that changed her forever
• A “unique reward” that carries back over into the campaign
