Lionhead’s all about the, uh, unconventional pre-release promotions, and in keeping with this fine tradition, they’ve just launched a browser-based Fable III NPC creator (requires Silverlight). Make your very own villager, and when the game comes out, you can hunt them down in Bowerstone Market and fart on them! 

That’s the idea, anyway. Actually bringing your intended asphyxiation victims into the game will require a pre-order code, and the list of participating retailers doesn’t include any on this side of the planet. A pustulating pox on whoever is responsible for this. 

In the meantime, however, you can still create characters and share them on Facebook and Twitter. Hey, it’s more fun than filing TPS reports.
