Crysis 2 pushed back to 2011

4 August 2010

EA last night announced that its highly anticipated FPS sequel Crysis 2 will not be released in the final months of this year as previously planned, and instead will only see the light of day in the second quarter of 2011.

The game was pushed back so that EA can give it a “better marketing window” before release, and the delay will also “give Crytek more time to polish” it.

Crysis 2 is due for release on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
