Game Informer Magazine has revealed a number of interesting new Batman: Arkham: City titbits in its latest issue.
Apparently, the sequel will take place one year after Arkham Asylum, and former Arkham Asylum warden Quincy Sharp is now mayor of Gotham. Sharp has built a new bigger asylum called Arkham City, which is run by psychiatrist Hugo Strange. Anything goes within the confinedsof Arkham City, and the only limitation is that inmates may not leave.
The game is set to feature famous characters from the franchise, including Two-Face, Joker and Catwoman.
From the outset players will have access to all the weapons gained in the first game, although new upgrades and items will become available later, including the Bat Claw.
New combat moves will be added, including simultaneous counters and projectile counters.
Batman: Arkham City is expected out towards the end of this year.
