Dragon Age: Origins story will end with next DLC

26 August 2010

Bioware has announced a final and dramatic ending to Dragon Age: Origins with the forthcoming DLC – Witch hunt.

The DLC is expected to be released on the same day as Bioware’s Mass Effect 2 DLC pack – Lair of the Shadow Broker – on September 17. Witch Hunt will be available for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 for around US$7 (R50).

Witch Hunt will pick up right where the original game left off, and will feature the return of Morrigan. It will supposedly answer a number of questions left unanswered in the original game, and is expected to prep us for the full sequel, Dragon Age 2, which will be out early next year.

Players will be given the option to create a new “high level” Warden, and the DLC will offer new “powerful rewards” which can be used in Origins as well as Awakening.
