When I stumbled across the rumour that Brad Pitt has been shortlisted to play John Marston in a Red Dead Redemption movie, my hopes were immediately raised. Could Pitt be just what a RDR movie needs to lend it instant A-list credibility?
Pitt is no stranger to the roll of a badass cowbow; The Assassination of Jesse James.
Unfortunately, the source of this little wannabe factoid remains undisclosed, so it is completely unreliable. However, the secret source supposedly said that “this is an exciting project with a great character at the center of it.”
“The idea is to make this in the style of an epic Western movie but with a few modern touches.
“Brad is perfect for the role and he is being given first refusal.”
Heck, even if Pitt is in no way involved in this project, the idea of a Red Dead Redemtion movie is enough to get me excited.
