Gearbox Software has announced the Borderlands Game of the Year Edition, which will include all 3 DLC packs released to date, as well as a fourth pack – Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution – which is being released for PS3, PC and Xbox 360 in October.
The Xbox 360 edition will cost $59.99 (R440), and the PC edition $49.99 (R365). Local pricing remains to be confirmed, although local distributer Megarom has confirmed that they intend to bring the GOTY editions to SA.
DLC included in Borderlands GOTY Edition:
The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx , and of course Claptrap’s New Robot Revenge, which is due for a standalone release in September.
The new DLC thrusts players into a civil war between the Hyperion Corporation and the Claptraps, who are led by the infamous Ninja Assassin. This DLC will be available over Xbox Live, PSN and Steam for US$10 (800 MS Points).
The DLC will come in the form of download coupons, and will not be on the disk.
