EA Has announced the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Ultimate Edition, which will include the full game, as well as the “first day” unlock bundles from the Collector’s Edition, as well as the 4 player co-op “onslaught mode” and the free to download Battlefield 1943. 

Only the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game are getting the Ultimate Edition treatment, most probably because PC gamers never got “Onslaught Mode” (not that they there are missing much). 

The Ultimate Edition is available in the US immediately, but we are waiting for confirmation from EA SA regarding local availability. 

Bad Company 2 remains a firm favourite with many online FPS fans, and is praised for its tactical depth, and massive scale maps. The PC version of the standard edition is available for a measly $30 (R219) on Steam.
