EA reveals rAge plans

We reported earlier today that Megarom and Numetro had already announced their respective game lineups for rAge 2010, which kicks of this Friday at 10AM. 

EA has since announced its own plans for SA’s biggest gaming trade show. Not only will they be showing off a host of new games, but to promote their upcoming mixed martial arts fighting game, simply called MMA, there will be actual MMA cage fighting. 

The Games

EA has confirmed that the following games will be showcased at rAge:

Medal of Honor 

Need For Speed Hot Pursuit

EA Sports Active 2 

The Sims 3 Console 

Dead Space 2 

Dragon Age 2 

EA Sports MMA

EA Sports FIFA 11

We will make a special effort to check out Medal of Honor, Dragon Age 2, and Dead Space 2. These join an already impressive list of exciting titles that will be on display at this year’s event, including Fallout: New Vegas, Guild Wars 2, Enslaved and Dead Rising 2.

MMA cage fighting schedule

Saturday

4 fights between 11am and 12pm.

4 fights between 3pm and 4pm.

Sunday

4 fights between 12pm and 1pm.

rAge kicks off this Friday (October 1) at 10:00 and will run until Sunday. Day tickets will cost R50 each, while weekend tickets can be bought for R80. Family tickets will be available for R150, and all tickets will be available at the door. As usual, the event will take place at the Coca Cola Dome in Johannesburg.
