Star Wars: Battlefront

DICE’s upcoming blockbuster shooter, Star Wars: Battlefront, has had its Closed Alpha build leaked – because of course it’s been leaked.

From it, a number of discoveries have been made, like a 40-player walker Assault map on Hoth as well as a co-op mission on Tatooine.

Both of those are exciting prospects indeed, but what we’re really here for are the 4K screenshots. You NEED to see what it looks like at 4K resolution on Ultra settings.

The Frostbite 3 engine is an outstanding piece of technology, we’ve known that for some time now, but Star Wars: Battlefront on the PC is a beast unto itself.

And there’s a lot more where that came from. Enjoy:

We can’t be any less than impressed, blown away is more like it. Star Wars: Battlefront is perhaps the most impressive shooter we’ve seen to date – that’s saying something considering the competition.

Don’t expect to manage visuals like this without anything but the heftiest of graphics cards, but it’s certainly worth the investment.
