Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam expansion gets price tag

21 October 2010

EA has released a new trailer for its upcoming Vietnam themed expansion for Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and it reveals that the add-on will cost $14.99 (R105 or 1 200 MS Points). It will be available for all three platforms and is a digital download-only product.

The expansion will introduce an entire new era to the game. Four new maps, 15 weapons, six vehicles and 49 musical tracks from the Vietnam war era are being added. Considering all the content, R100 seems like a fair price. Modern Warfare 2 map packs cost the same, and they only add 5 new maps each, some of which are ported from Call of Duty 4.

The Vietnam expansion pack is due out in “Winter 2010” so we can expect to see it before the end of the year.
