Battlefield 4 has received a number of really quite large updates in the past, updates primarily focused around gameplay performance and balance, but none of them have prepared us for this latest fall update.
Introducing a new community map, Operation Outbreak, as well as 30 odd pages of balances and tweaks, it’s very nearly a new game for those more familiar with the finer points of the Battlefield 4.
Some of the larger changes include an impressive list of changes made to virtually every vehicle available to the Battlefield soldier; a number of adjustments made to class types as well as the gadgets they have available to them; netcode has once again been improved; fixes; and general quality of life improvements.
As fans of Battlefield’s vehicular warfare, we’re absolutely giddy about the long list of improvements and buffs. In fact, this fall update may well breathe new life into the game for us.
For everyone else, DICE has done a fine job of honing in on problem areas, balance issues and looks to have outdone themselves this time. The new map is nice too.
