StarWars: The Force Unleashed II is the direct sequel to StarWars: The Force Unleashed. Developed by LucasArts, the game was released last week for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. So far, The Force Unleashed 2 has received mixed reviews, with GameInformer famously calling it the biggest disappointment of the year.

ImpulseGamer, on the other hand, gave it an impressive 9/10 score. Other reviews are floating around the 7/10 mark, although GameSpy panned it with a lowly 2.5/5.

The game is an action-adventure, with a focus on Jedi combat techniques. Players can wield dual light sabers, and summon forth devastating force powers. One improvement that most reviewers have been able to agree on is the visuals, thanks to an improved rendering system. Destructible environments, are also once again featured, as players navigate the StarWars universe as Darth Vader’s secret apprentice; StarKiller.
