Can’t wait to play You Give Love A Bad Name in Rock Band 3? Well, you’re just going to have to. It turns out there’s been such a massive demand for Lego Rock Band song export keys that Harmonix has managed to run out of them.
Much like Rock Band: AC/DC, the export process is a convoluted affair, requiring players to enter the code included in Lego Rock Band over at RockBand.com, which then turns up its own redemption code to “purchase” the set list from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 800 MSP. Then you have to download them all, because apparently you can’t just copy them from the disc for some secret reason. Problem is, there aren’t any redemption codes left.
According to a post over on the company’s forums:
“Due to overwhelming demand, we’ve temporarily run out of Lego: Rock Band redemption tokens for Xbox 360. We’re really happy so many of you were excited to bring songs from LRB over into Rock Band 3 and we’re doing our best to get new tokens set up for redemption as quickly as possible. Stay tuned to this thread and watch @RockBand on twitter for updates. We’ll be responding to everyone via [email protected] shortly, but HMXcj and I will be updating this thread to reach as many people as possible. Sorry again for the inconvenience and thanks for your patience!”
