Since it’s release, countless Fallout: New Vegas bugs have reared their radioactively-deformed heads across PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. Bethesda has been hard at work trying to fix these issues which are marring an otherwise good game.
According to the Bethesda Blog, the Xbox 360 save game issue might have finally been nailed down, along with a number of other issues that have been reported.
“We’re currently running final testing and certification on a comprehensive patch for all three platforms (PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3), so we’ll have something available in the coming weeks. When we have more details, we’ll let you know,” said the developers via the blog.
An incremental PC patch should be available sometime this week which will solve the save game corruption issues experienced on PC. Hopefully this will re-enable Steam Cloud features, which were disabled as a workaround.
The incremental PC patch should also address companion problems, improve performance for Nvidia GPU owners and resolve problems experienced with the Havok physics middle-ware.
