rAge Expo Cape Town

rAge 2016 Cape Town was received with excitement by local gamers, as it was the first time the expo had been hosted in the city.

rAge Cape Town was structured similarly to the Johannesburg expo, which will continue to take place on an annual basis and will be held in October.

Cape Town’s first rAge drew a total of 9,091 visitors to the event with a variety of different products, workshops and gaming booths.

The event was well received by all involved, and the expo plans to return next year to a bigger venue.

“I believe it was a solid start and the future of rAge in Cape Town looks very bright”, said the Senior Project Manager of rAge, Michael James.

The event also included the NAG LAN, which was well attended by Cape Town gamers and received general praise from attendees.
