I’m not sure how I missed this yesterday during the bleak post-weekend news crawl, but Xbox’s Major Nelson has apparently announced the first Call of Duty: Black Ops DLC map pack in a recent podcast. Pew!

Dubbed “First Strike”, the DLC includes five new maps – that’s four regular multiplayer maps, and one Zombies map.

•    “Discovery,” set in Antarctica;
•    “Kowloon” set around Kowloon’s rooftops;
•    “Berlin Wall”, a bit of Checkpoint Charlie action;
•    “Stadium,” a hockey rink in the U.S (huh?);
•    “Ascension.” (A co-op zombie mode map.)

It’s dropping 1 February 2011 on Xbox (and tagged at 1200 MSP), and scheduled to deploy shortly thereafter on PC and PS3.
