Humble Indie Bundle 2 now includes Humble Indie Bundle 1

23 December 2010

Hey! You! Did you buy the Humble Indie Bundle #2? Go check your personal download page, cupcake – thanks to your extraordinary magnanimity and stuff, you’ve got six new games waiting for you.

The promo has been such a rip-roaring success, that the original Humble Indie Bundle games – that’s World of Goo, Aquaria, Gish, Lugaru HD, Penumbra Overture, and Samorost 2 – have been chucked into the deal.

The Humble Indie Bundle #2 includes Braid, Cortex Command, Machinarium, Osmos, and Revenge of the Titans. The games are all DRM-free, and buyers can choose how to distribute their cash between the game developers and two charities.

For those of you who haven’t (yet!) done your bit for humanity, just buy the Humble Indie Bundle #2 for the average purchase price – or more – and you’ll blag the first Humble Indie Bundle for the low, low price of absolutely nothing too. At the moment, that average purchase price is $7.48, and possibly subject to some minor upward migration, but considering that sold separately this bunch of games would cost you around $85 in total, that’s still a rather substantial saving. Although, one guy did pay $3141.59 for the lot. Maybe he didn’t read the instructions properly.

The pack is also available over Steam, of course, but there’s apparently an issue now with Samorost 2, and the Mac versions of both Gish and Aquaria not being available from some reason or another, and it’s not yet clear whether this problem will be resolved.

Since launching a couple of weeks back, the Humble Indie Bundle #2 promo has banked over US$1.35 million cash monies. That’s a lot of kids saved from dragons, or whatever.

Hit up the Humble Indie Bundle site or Steam for more information.
