Game Developers Choice awards nominees announced

The 11th annual Game Developers Choice awards are coming up in March, and ahead of the event, the nominees in most major categories have just been announced. That gives everybody just over a month to bicker and argue about the exclusion of X, Y, and Z. and why all the nominated games totally sucked.

The event is happening in San Francisco on 2 March, and will be presented by Gamasutra and Game Developer Magazine. The finalists and winners are determined by an invite-only voting panel of some 500 industry professionals.

The Xbox Live Arcade exclusive Limbo received the most nominations with a total of seven, while RockStar’s Red Dead Redemption also fared well with  six.
