There were a few interesting revelations in the games industry this week. Sony finally pulled the lid back on the PSP2, or NGP (Next Generation Portable) as it is currently being called, the legal battle between Sony and the hackers who cracked open the PS3’s security measures continued, and Crysis 2 and Bulletstorm both had demos released on Xbox Live.
In local news, Nintendo and Apple distributor Core announced a local release date for the 3DS, and finally got around to launching the iPad in South Africa. We also caught up with Microsoft SA to chat about the current state of SA’s Xbox Live service.
