The biggest movies in South Africa this past weekend

As we head into Oscar season South African audiences have been treated to a decent mix of big-budget popcorn movies and thought-provoking dramas.

While it will take a massive achievement to overtake Suicide Squad’s highest LTD GBO (life to date gross office) at R34,127,686, the superhero movie is slowly starting to loosen its grip on the South African box office.
