Square Enix has announced that a demo version of Babylon’s Fall will launch on 25 February to PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles – one week ahead of the game’s 3 March full release.
The announcement was made during the game’s third official stream, where it was also confirmed that a Steam demo will launch in late March.
A Steam demo was also stated to be coming later in March.
The demo version will allow players to enjoy the initial areas of the game and features a save data transfer system.
This will enable players to continue from where the demo left off once the full game releases.
Additionally, players who have pre-ordered the Deluxe Version or Collector’s Edition will gain access to the full game on 28 February in early access.
It has also been revealed that the game will use a Battle Pass system in conjunction with three-month cycles, called seasons.
The first season will run from 25 February to 31 May and will be known as the “Eternal Tower”.
Both a free and Premium Battle Pass will be available to players, which will offer rewards for playing during the season.
Square Enix also announced that the Premium Battle Pass will be released for free for the first season.
