Brilliant Game Studios’ sequel to the iconic Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator (UEBS) will release on 12 May and features vastly improved capabilities compared to the first game.
The developers have shown the title to be capable of stably rendering over 1 million characters on screen and, like the first game, offers a wide range of units for your battle simulation needs – from Spartan Hoplites and World War 2 soldiers to war ducks and trolls.
The game will also allow you to play multiple story and player-driven campaigns, conduct battles with infinitely large armies in a sandbox mode and experience the spectacle in first-person mode from a character’s point of view.
Brilliant Games Studio has also been improving the AI, rendering technology, and optimisation to ensure that each battle runs smoothly and is enjoyable to watch.
Additionally the developers have stated their intention to eventually introduce a physics engine to the title to allow ragdoll effects during simulation.
Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator 2 is available on Steam, and you can watch the release date announcement trailer below.
