EA and Criterion have dropped a new trailer for Need for Speed Rivals, showing off the game’s most gorgeous cars, the blistering speeds achievable, and the intense rivalry that exists between the police force and racers of Redview County.

Criterion have been releasing a number of trailers recently to showcase the new features in Rivals, including the AllDrive trailer and the Progression and Pursuit trailer.

Rivals is being developed by Criterion and Ghost Games, and will run on the new Frostbite 3 engine, bringing next-generation graphics, effects and features to the NFS world.

The new game will be set in Redview County, and will focus on the rivalry that exists between the high-stakes street racers and the county police force – as each side has to accumulate followers and supporters in order to win an “all out media war”.

Rivals will also feature deep customisation options, allowing you to enhance your car with performance upgrades, personalise your bodywork with fresh paintjobs, liveries, custom license plates, rims, and decals.

MyGaming got some hands-on time with the game on PS4 at Gamescom 2013, and listed 5 great features in Need for Speed Rivals.

Need for Speed Rivals is scheduled to release on 19 November on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC; with the game dropping on PS4 on 29 November and the Xbox One version awaiting a release date.
