With two days to the official launch of the Playstation 4 in the US and Canada, Sony’s marketing machine is now in full swing and has released a new trailer for Killzone: Shadow Fall.

The trailer shows the wall dividing the Helgast and the Vektans, and the differences in the way the two races live side-by-side with particular note to the ruined buildings on the Helghast side. A lot of attention is paid to the visuals of the game, almost as if one were watching a tech demo of some sort.

Killzone: Shadow Fall takes place 30 years after the events of Killzone 3, with the Helgast allowed to take refuge in a part of the capital city of Vekta, Vekta City. Despite their close co-existence, the two races continue to engage in civil wars and it’s up to the Shadow Marshals, the protectors of the dividing wall, to keep the Helgast on their side of the fence.

As Shadow Marshal Lucas Kellan, it’s your duty to protect the wall and the Vektan citizens at any cost from a Helgast invasion.

Killzone: Shadow Fall is a launch title for the Sony Playstation 4, and will be available with the console on it’s 13 December 2013 local launch.
