Dark Souls board game raises £400,000 in 24 hours on Kickstarter

The Dark Souls Board Game has smashed through its Kickstarter stretch goals, raising over £400,000 in one day.

The board game only needed £50,000 in order to become fully funded, which the project reached three minutes after the campaign began.

The stretch goals for the board game have all been reached, with Steamforged Games promising tons of new content as the amount pledged continues to grow.

The pledge amount sits at around £400,000 at the time of writing, which has been raised in less than a day.

The Dark Souls board game seeks to emulate the tough, tactical gameplay of the Dark Souls video games with a focus on the latest installment of the franchise, Dark Souls 3.

The board game features detailed miniatures and unique mechanics, promising action-packed, rewarding gameplay.
