The incredible behind-the-scenes making of The Battle for Winterfell has been posted on the official Game of Thrones YouTube channel.
In addition to the amount of horses used, why certain shots were chosen, and the CGI green screen behind it all, we got to hear from all the major actors involved and director David Benioff.
The battle featured in the episode “Battle of the Bastards”, which aired on Sunday 19 June in the US and is currently ranked the highest-rated in the series’ history.
The episode will broadcast in South Africa on M-Net Edge, Channel 102 at 21:00 on 23 June.
