HBO has teamed up with Samuel L. Jackson to bring you a 7-minute beginner’s guide to the world of Westeros.

Jackson’s choice language (especially that reserved for a certain blonde king) perfectly captures complex family histories and endless shifting loyalties.

He also respectfully steers away from any of the newest season’s spoilers (Season 6), so you can safely catch up on events even if you haven’t seen the newer episodes.
