In an incredibly sly marketing move, USA network has “leaked” the first episode of the upcoming Season 2 of the critically-acclaimed Mr Robot.
This was shortly after a masked figure interrupted a live Facebook Q&A with its creators, delivering the following message.
“You deserve something new, something unexpected, something you’ve never seen before,” the figure said, before playing the episode for people watching live.
Shortly afterwards the first episode of the new season leaked on to various online platforms, including the world’s most popular torrent sites.
The first episode is expected to air on television on 13 July in the United States.
