The 5 best ways to clean your smartphone screen

4 October 2016

If you are anything like us, your smartphone is littered with smudges and fingerprints.

While it’s not the greatest to work with or look at it’s also a breeding ground for bacteria.

That’s why you need to check out the five best ways to clean your smartphone below:

Microfibre Cloth

You can’t go wrong with a classic.

Microfibre cloths are cheap and effective and are handy to have around the house not only to clean your smartphone but for all your electronics.

Go High-Tech

You’re a gadget-fundi and we respect that.

Unlike those plebians who use simple “cloths and sprays” to get things done, you want to use the most efficient and high-tech way to your clean your smartphone.

Check out the PhoneSoap Charger to start, it washes and charges your phone at the same time.

Sellotape

If high-tech is not an option, going “low-tech” may be for you.

Our own research has also shown that it helps to pretend you’re a CSI extra while “lifting” fingerprints to make the process go faster.

Alcohol-Based Cleaners

Sometimes the dirt on your smartphone isn’t as simple as a couple of fingerprint smudges.

For the more stubborn dirt you may need to get an alcohol-based agent to help you tackle the grime.

Just be sure, to make sure it’s suitable for your phone, otherwise you could literally take the paint right off with a strong enough cleaner.

Screen Protector

Sometimes it’s better to admit that prevention is better than cure.

Grab yourself a decent cover that protects not only your smartphone’s screen but the entire chassis meaning sudden drops won’t be so fatal.
